Ohh wow you have been to August! This is probably my favorite restaurant in NYC. I live in NYC and read this blog all the time and it so nice to see something familiar here

I too would love that. I am really struggling with the darkness of our Autumn.. I think my genes have reprogrammed because of all the years abroad. Australia never gets this dark..! :)
I adore your picture parade. I love the stools in no 3. I have one that I bought as a young architect apprentice, but it's in a sad looking 'natural' colour. Might paint it black.. looks so much nicer.
Am still deciding re the lamp. Am leaning towards red.. Your thoughts would be much appreciated - I trust your judgement.
