Friends & Founders

Take a look at this lovely design company, Friends & Founders. Founded in 2013 by the designers Ida Linea and Rasmus Hildebrand. The studio is situated in the north of Copenhagen and 95 % of the collection is manufactured in Scandinavia and the rest 5 % in Europe. I just love all of it! Danish design

Danish design almost never make you disappointed, so enjoy some inspiring pics from Montana. Montana is a family owned business with production in Denmark. The father-and-son team Peter and Joakim Lassen have designed many of Montana's products – often in collaboration with Montana's design team or with external designers like Peter J. Lassen, Arne Jacobsen, Verner Panton, Peter J. Lassen, Joakim Lassen, shldesign and Salto & Sigsgaard.

Eames, Herman Miller and 3sixteen

I'm a true fan of the iconic design by Charles and Ray Eames and this natural veg tanned leather and palisander version of the Lounge Chair and Ottoman is definitely a real goodie. The chair is customized and specially made by Herman Miller for the New York based clothing and denim company 3sixteen. Love it! Photos from 3sixteen.

"Hank"

 

A few weeks ago I worked with this photo shoot for D75 Illuminants and the launch of the new lamp "Hank". A hanger and a lamp in one to lightening up your personal favourites with allthrough swedish handcraft and stylish design.

Flavour of the month

I'm not dead, I just have had a busy week :) This paperweight ice cream is made of marble and chromed brass. I saw it on 20 kvadrat some weeks ago and couldn't resist buying one.

Today I met Pinocchio

First of all – and yes I know it sounds a bit resumptive – but I have to express my appreciation again for your nice comments, it always makes me smile and feel warm inside, thanks!
Today I went over to Karin's for coffee and as you see, I had to take some pictures of her gorgeous rug ”Pinocchio” from Hay.
