Danish design

Danish design almost never make you disappointed, so enjoy some inspiring pics from Montana. Montana is a family owned business with production in Denmark. The father-and-son team Peter and Joakim Lassen have designed many of Montana's products – often in collaboration with Montana's design team or with external designers like Peter J. Lassen, Arne Jacobsen, Verner Panton, Peter J. Lassen, Joakim Lassen, shldesign and Salto & Sigsgaard.

2017 and MAD et LEN

I can't live without an "irl" calendar.  The digital ones are probably great but I love to make notes and symbols and cross off things, I like it sketchy and flexibel and the feeling to turn a page after a rough week is just liberating. I've already got mine, in blue suede, for 2017. Another desk favorite is the candles and potpourri from MAD et LEN, this Darkwood scent is customized for and bought at lovely Studio Oliver Gustav in Copenhagen.

Old couch new fabric

This comfy old couch will soon be dressed with a new cover. I've been dilling about the fabric for a very long time and some shade of grey (not fifty though ;-) has always been on my mind but suddenly I changed my mind and will finally go for the wheat colour as the pillow on top. The fabric, called "Axel", is from the textile producer Astrid who carries a lot of lovely linen quality fabrics. I let you know when it's finished. Have a great new week!

Long time no see!

Long time has passed since I made my latest post. Well I guess I have been a bit uninspired, not to live or to create but to blog. I've been thinking about why I should blog when all the other talented bloggers fill our feed with so much material, inspiring homes and products, interesting design news, exciting blog events, breakfasts and meetings. It occurred to me that the world doesn't need another interior and lifestyle blogger. But then I realized that despite of my poor blogging the last years I'm not really ready to jump off yet.
